MLB Pipeline's Aug. 16 rankings and FanGraphs' 2026 prospect-value model anchor the industry layer. S80 then adds a smaller proprietary signal based on how much top-end and overall Release 80 talent each organization carries. Baseball America's Sept. 16 system grades inform qualitative context but are not copied into the numerical formula.
