S80 DNA starts with the traditional 20–80 tools, then adds the context rankings alone leave out: age versus level, production, approach, physical projection, positional value and uncertainty. The result is not a crystal ball. It is a transparent, tunable projection framework.
Third-party tool grades are separated from S80's internal context scores so we can test the formula without pretending the inputs are more certain than they are.

This board is generated by JavaScript from a single prospect dataset. Change an input, and the DNA score, order and comparison output all change with it.

Raw tools can look similar while the paths to MLB value are very different. Choose two players and S80 will expose where the projection separates.
How DNA is built.
S80 deliberately gives the largest share to observable baseball skill, while preserving room for development context. A prospect cannot max the model simply by being young or athletic.
DNA = Tools × .40 + Age/Level × .15 + Production × .15 + Approach × .10 + Projection × .10 + Positional Value × .05 + Safety × .05This is where S80 becomes a product.
Version 1 gives us a transparent baseline. Next comes historical backtesting, more player archetypes, pitcher DNA, and the first real Super 80 board.
